First Friday Nevada

If the trend sweeping the nation continues to head Southwest, then Senator John McCain is going to be in for a rude awakening come November. His opponent, the “Consistent Conservative”, is the resounding choice to replace the former middle-of-the-road presidential candidate.

And guess who is making a trip to Vegas, just to visit with you lovely folks at First Friday? None other than McCain’s kryptonite, J.D. Hayworth.

Join us on April 2nd as we kickoff the start of spring (hallelujah!) with special VIP guest J.D. Hayworth! J.D. is a longtime friend of Citizen Outreach, and a loyal adherent to conservative values. We cannot wait to host him for First Friday!

Not sure who he is? Check out these highlights in his outstanding career:

J.D. Hayworth has been a radio and television personality, business management consultant, and public policy advocate. Still, most of Arizona knows J.D. from his time spent in Congress, to which he was elected as part of the Republican Revolution in 1994.

While in the House, he built a stellar record as a Consistent Conservative. He maintained an “A” rating from the NRA and a 100% Pro-Life voting record. J.D. also compiled a lifetime rating of 89 from Citizens Against Government Waste and a lifetime rating of 98 from the American Conservative Union.

During his twelve years in the House, J.D. became the first Arizonan to serve on the Ways and Means Committee where he helped write the Bush Tax Cuts of 2001 and 2003.

This former congressman, author, and radio star is looking for our support in Southern Nevada- and I think we have what it takes to show him that we are ready to get rid of McCain AND his colleague, Harry Reid!

Joining us next week for our best First Friday event yet, is the Fort Hood heroine herself, Sergeant Kim Munley!

This young woman is a civilian police officer at Ford Hood, who had the fortitude to open fire on and stop the malicious gunman on base. She not only took a major risk by taking on this heavily-armed gunman, she was also a victim- she is still recovering from wounds she received that day.

We are honored to bring Sgt. Munley to our city for a much deserved break from the “real world”. This is her first trip to Las Vegas and we’re sure that after she visits with our crowd at First Friday, she’ll be itching to come back!

This is a special treat for all of us- to show gratitude and appreciation for this woman’s efforts.

I hope you will spread this word about this very unique First Friday- and take the opportunity to stop by and say “thank you!” to Sgt. Munley in person!

If you don’t know Grover, you are missing out. He is the father of the Taxpayer Protection Pledge and a Board Member of the National Rifle Association. This is an unabashed fiscal conservative who is extremely influential in Washington and makes the knees of bureaucrats shake all across the country.

He also has a top-notch sense of humor. Some of his more famous goals include “drowning government in a bathtub” and “making government really teeny.”
