First Friday September

On August 12, 2011, in First Friday Las Vegas, by David Mansdoerfer

Citizen Outreach Foundation cordially invites you to join us for this month’s First Friday Happy Hour!

This month’s Special Guest… Christine O’Donnell!

Christine O’Donnell will be signing copies of her new book Troublemaker: Let’s Do What it Takes to Make America Great Again.

As a woman of principled determination, with a governing philosophy centered on the core values of the great American tradition and a wide experience in taking on the liberal establishment, Christine O’Donnell was a candidate for U.S. Senate from the First State.

Christine has served as a marketing and media consultant to various clients, including: Icon Pictures’ The Passion of The Christ, Natalia Tsarkova, the Vatican’s first female portrait painter, and non-profit organizations such as the World Education and Development Fund, a charity that provides scholarships to children in poor communities throughout Latin America.

After attending Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, Christine was awarded a 2002 Abraham Lincoln Graduate Fellowship in Constitutional Government from the Claremont Institute in Claremont, CA. She resides in Wilmington, DE.

Christine O’Donnell is a nationally recognized political commentator and marketing consultant. She has appeared on national news outlets such as the Fox News Channel, CNN, C-SPAN, MSNBC and ABC, including major ratings hits like “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Sean Hannity Show,” “The Glenn Beck Show,” “Hardball with Chris Matthews” and “Entertainment Tonight.” Christine has also been a radio talk show guest-host on WGMD in Rehoboth Beach and WDEL in Wilmington.

As part of a delegation of journalists, Christine toured the middle-eastern country of Jordan as a guest of the Royal Jordanian government. Having witnessed firsthand the oppression in the Middle East, Christine describes this journey as truly a life changing experience and says it deepened her commitment to the women’s movement.

An effective communicator, Christine is known for her skill in winning over even those who disagree with her most. Liberal Bill Maher stated, “I don’t know how many times you’ve been here but it’s always a good show when you’re on.” Even Democratic strategist James Carville was forced to admit of Christine O’Donnell “Now, this is one hip woman,” on CNN’s “Crossfire.”

During her 20-year career, Christine has served as a social advocate in Washington, D.C., participating in regular White House and Capitol Hill strategy meetings and leading delegations to the United Nations to lobby on behalf of pro-family global policies. She’s successfully debated Cabinet members, lawmakers and international leaders.

In the early 1990’s Christine worked for the Republican National Committee (under then Chairman Haley Barbour) helping to develop the marketing strategy credited with having had a key role in the historic ’94 Republican Congressional sweep.

Make sure to bring a friend or two to the Best Conservative Happy Hour in Las Vegas!

For those of you searching the summer Vegas heat for a sizzling conservative social event mixing politics, music, fun, food & drink specials.…Citizen Outreach Foundation cordially invites you to join us for this month’s First Friday Happy Hour!

This will be our Second Anniversary and our Hostesses with the Mostest Felecia Dorchuck and Irma Aguirre have put together one hell of an event with a lineup of superstar conservative speakers, authors, thinkers, tinkers, blinkers and even some stinkers (yes, there’s always a chance that Mark Sherwood might show up!).

First and foremost, our featured VIP guest-of-honor will be:

Anita Moncrief

Anita is the national spokesperson for American Majority and editor-in-chief of Emerging Corruption….but you probably know her as the ACORN/Project Vote Whistleblower!

In addition to joining us at the First Friday Happy Hour, Anita will be conducting a training workshop on how to stop voter fraud immediately before….HOWEVER, that workshop is already sold out. So you’ll just have to ask Anita your questions in person over a frosty beer or margarita!

But that’s not all. Not by a long shot. We’ll also be joined by author:

Angela Alegna

Angela – who I am SHOCKED didn’t make it on the Top 50 Hottest Women in Politics list – is founder of “America Helping Heroes,” nonprofit organization set up to make sure that no combat veteran, especially here at our very own Nellis Air Force Base, is neglected and left to deal with the process of reintegration after returning from war in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Angela’s book, “Coming Home Moving Forward” comes out this month, and I *think* she’ll have some advance copies to sell with her. If not, maybe she’ll consider honoring us with a taste of her new single – she’s also a musician! – “Never the Same,” which is being released in conjunction with the book.

But we’re still not finished! Also stopping by for a visit will be:

The Cosmo Truck!

The Cosmo Truck is a big purple promotional van for the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Resort on the Strip.

“The vehicle is in fact an ice cream truck, its interior mostly gutted to accommodate shapely Cosmo representatives, musicians and giveaways, including vintage keys with promotional codes in conjunction with the resort’s ‘Unlock Your Mondays’ campaign.”

I also understand there will be some special adult “snow-cones” – and if you care to take a dare, catch the smell of freedom by stepping outside on the patio for a cigar or cigarette!

And as always, our special guest Master-of-Ceremonies will be the master conservative talk-show host of (new radio station to be named later!):

Alan Stock

The Second Anniversay of the First Friday Happy Hour will be celebrated at Mundo: A Latin Chic Restaurant downtown.

Bring a friend. Heck, bring TWO friends. And their friends, too! We’re happy to welcome them.

To add to the already star-studded lineup at August First Friday, Author/Musician Angela Alegna, founder of America Helping Heroes, will also be joining us. America Helping Heroes is a nonprofit organization set up to make sure that no combat veteran is neglected and left to deal with the process of reintegration.

Angela Alegna is an accomplished musician and author. While researching a film project, Angela discovered the statistics of homelessness among America’s veterans. Realizing that our men and women who have served in our current conflicts are experiencing high levels of suicide and homelessness, Angela was motivated to do something.

She established grassroots organization America Helping Heroes in 2009. Finding that most Americans truly believe that veterans are taken care of for life, Angela recognized the importance of dispelling that myth and began writing COMING HOME MOVING FORWARD.

Angela believes the community – the everyday American – is vital to a positive transition for our returning troops and will serve as a catalyst for the change that is essential to the long-term well-being of our returning heroes.

In conjunction with the release of COMING HOME MOVING FORWARD is the release of her single Never the Same– a song in memory of the ten year anniversary of the fateful day that changed the world and a reminder that the only hope America has to survive everything that happened on 9/11 and since– is to pull together in love and unity.

Proceeds from both COMING HOME MOVING FORWARD and Never the Same will be devoted to providing housing and care for OEF/OIF Veterans in need.

Join us at Mundo: A Latin Chic Restaurant (World Market Center Downtown – 495 South Grand Central Parkway) to celebrate our second anniversary with this month’s VIP guest Anita MonCrief!

Anita MonCrief is the National Spokesperson for American Majority and the Editor-in-Chief of, Emerging Corruption, but you probably know her as the ACORN/Project Vote Whistleblower!

MonCrief attended the University of Alabama where she majored in political science and history. She has worked with the American Bar Association’s Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative; (ABA CEELI), the International Crisis Group, the Grameen Foundation and American Rights at Work. She also partnered with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe on their mission to Macedonia as an election observer.

In 2005, MonCrief joined the Strategic Writing and Research Department of ACORN Political Operations and its affiliate Project Vote.

In 2008, MonCrief came forward, first as a confidential source of The New York Times and, after The New York Times backed away, publicly, to expose the damage that ACORN has done to the impoverished and marginalized communities, as well as its rampant voter fraud. She also began to blog and write about corruption within the ACORN/Project Vote network of corporations.

In June 2009, Project Vote/ACORN filed a lawsuit against MonCrief in an attempt to silence her.  In March 2010, the ACORN/Project Vote lawsuit was dismissed.

NEW LOCATION: MUNDO!

We’re moving our First Friday Happy Hour this month to Mundo: A Latin Chic Restaurant downtown. The move means a couple of exciting new changes:

1.) Mundo is smaller than Stoney’s, so we’ll all be much closer together. Now when we say “come rub shoulders with the state’s movers-and-shakers,” we mean it…literally!

2.) Mundo allows college students and others who are under-21 to attend….provided they stay away from the bar area.

3.) Mundo is located near the First Friday Arts Festival downtown and will be providing FREE shuttle service to the Arts District and back for happy hour attendees.

4.) Mundo serves Alien Tequila….which means one of the best margaritas in the universe!

5.) Mundo has put together a special happy hour appetizer menu for First Friday guests! Read it and salivate here

6.) And if that’s not enough, you can stick around after Happy Hour and enjoy a full Mundo dinner. (“Try the mulled wine, it’s terrific!”)
