We know Sheriff Joe is a tough act to follow. We wouldn’t even try to convince you otherwise. But with the June 8th primary coming around the corner, we’ve decided to mix up First Friday and do something that we’ve never allowed before…
You get to hear from the candidates!
For this special “Last Call” edition of First Friday, we’ve invited the top 5 U.S. Senate candidates and the gubernatorial candidates to each present 2-minute stump speeches.
This may be the ONLY time we allow candidates this type of forum at First Friday. We think the voters need one last chance to catch these candidates off-the-cuff and in-person at our happy hour event. See them present their best 2-minute speech and get the chance to pose your questions before the window of opportunity closes.
And for those of you who are ardently supporting the losing candidates, let’s face it, isn’t it about time you start nursing your woes and begin moving on? Gathering with your friends and allies at First Friday oughta help you do just that.
